Prost, Richmond! Triple Crossing Beer returns this year to bring the world’s most famous beer festival to RVA — Oktoberfest. We’ve typically planned a Fall Fest, but last year, we hosted our very first Oktoberfest exclusively at our Fulton location. Join us on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 12–5 PM as we celebrate Oktoberfest — Richmond-style — just one week after the 191st festival kicks off in Munich.
This year’s festivities will transform our Fulton taproom and outdoor space into the ultimate Bavarian playground around. Admission is FREE, with more beers to explore, festive music from The Sauerkrauts, German food specials and Steinholding Competition. Bring the whole family for a day of authentic food (and pizzas), amazing Triple Crossing beers, live music and a whole lotta fun.

HISTORY OF OKTOBERFEST
Oktoberfest began in Munich, Germany in 1810, originally a celebration of the royal wedding between Crown Prince Ludwig (later King Ludwig I) and Princess Therese. The party was such a success that it became an annual tradition, evolving into the world’s largest beer festival. Today, millions gather each fall to enjoy music, food, and, of course, beer.
The official beer of Oktoberfest is Festbier, a golden, smooth, and slightly stronger lager brewed specially for the season. Festbier replaced the darker Märzen style in the 1970s and has since become the staple beer served in the massive tents of Munich. It’s designed for celebration: crisp, malty, and endlessly drinkable by the liter.
At Triple Crossing, we’re bringing that same tradition to Richmond with our own Festbier brewed for the occasion—made to raise a stein and toast, Prost! 🍻
